Boys Gymnastics

Strength, agility and fundamentals for boys in a supportive, coach-led environment at Pakenham.

What Is Boys Gymnastics?

Boys gymnastics at Reach is a structured program designed specifically for male gymnasts. Classes focus on strength, power, coordination and the technical skills of artistic gymnastics.

Boys train on apparatus designed for men's artistic gymnastics — floor, pommel, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar — with progressions scaled to each child's age and ability.

Who Is It For?

Boys gymnastics is for school-age boys from beginner through to recreational and pre-competitive levels. We welcome boys with no prior gymnastics experience as well as those transferring from other clubs.

What Will My Son Learn?

Boys learn the foundational skills of artistic gymnastics, with a strong emphasis on body strength, coordination and movement quality. Sessions are structured, energetic and coached by qualified gymnastics coaches.

As boys progress, they build toward more advanced skills on all six men's apparatus. Progress is tracked each term and coaches advise on level changes.

How Boys Progress

Boys move through levels based on their skill development and age. Our coaches assess progress throughout the term and recommend level changes when the time is right.

Boys showing strong commitment and ability may be invited to trial for a competitive or pre-competitive squad. Our team will guide you through the pathway when the time comes.

There is no pressure to advance before a boy is ready — we focus on building genuine skill and confidence first.
