Welcome to Reach Gymnastics where we offer professional and fun gymnastics classes in Pakenham and Emerald.
We believe in teaching kids first with our focus on fun, fitness, fundamentals and friendships.
Our amazing gymnastics classes are specially designed and structured for children aged 18 months through to adults. Our programs/classes include JumpStart, Ninja Academy, boys gymnastics, GymFun, Gymstar through to competitive programs and gymnastics classes for adults. Reach Gymnastics does it all.
Our coaches are friendly, qualified and continually undergo further education and training to keep their skills up to date.
We pride ourselves on our Pakenham and Emerald gymnastics centres being clean, bright and safe for you and your families.
We are very passionate about kids having fun first and foremost, as research shows that the number one reason kids quit sports is when it stops being fun. We are committed to providing a customer-focussed, safe and positive environment for all of our members. Our vision is to continue to be a leader in our industry, and provide a space for all children to feel supported, included and challenged.

Why Choose Gymnastics
Building confident, healthy and happy people
Reach Gymnastics was opened at Emerald in 2015 by owner and director Rebecca Tilley before expanding to Pakenham too in 2018.
It’s important to us that our gymnastics students have fun in a safe and supported environment.
We also offer free trial classes so come along and see if we’re a good fit for you and your family.
The best of gymnastics
Increased flexibility and control of the body which can be an effective aid in the reduction of injury.
Gymnastics can help build the foundations of good all-around muscle strength, endurance, and power.
Children build a range of motor and coordination skills, and assists in developing a good sense of body awareness.
Gives children an opportunity to learn about social skills like listening, following directions, taking turns, being quiet, and respecting others.
Helps develop strong and healthy bones.
Increased cognitive functioning
Gymnastics allows children the chance to think for themselves, to stimulate their imaginations and to solve problems safely.
Enhances Other Sports
The body control and awareness taught in gymnastics is beneficial for other sports and activities
From the beginning, gymnasts learn to set goals. The goal might be to walk the length of the beam by the end of class, or it might be to compete at an international level!
Reach Gymnastics ticks all the boxes for my active 8yr old daughter. We love the fun loving friendly team environment down at Reach. My daughter actually enjoys developing upper body strength with Coach Steph thru her WAG Program she comes home counting her little abs & flexing her biceps lol …. We look forward to continuing next term.
Bec and her team are professional, friendly, and run a great program. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Both my kids love going to gymnastics and circus classes.
If you can find a place where your child develops confidence, resilience, drive and mad skills, but also has heaps of fun and loves every second, you’ve hit the jackpot.
With Reach, we’ve hit the jackpot. Excellent staff, great facilities and a focus on athletes’ well-being while encouraging them to be their best.
I’m happy that our kids are in good hands.
Ready to join in the fun of gymnastics?
What do I do before class?
Please drop your child into the venue before class starts and wait in the parent viewing area until a coach collects the gymnasts. Gymnasts will take shoes and socks off before going on the gym floor and place these in the cubbies, or with their families.
What should I wear to my class?
T-shirts and shorts/leggings are fine, however please avoid buttons and zippers, and long hair must be tied back. Participants may wear a leotard if they prefer. Bare feet is necessary for classes.
What should I bring?
A water bottle with the gymnast’s name labelled on it.
Are your coaches qualified?
All coaches at Reach are nationally accredited with Gymnastics Australia. Coaches must complete a minimum of 6 hours updating each year in order to maintain their registration. All coaches also hold a Working with Children's check.
Can I stay and watch my child?
Yes! We have a parent viewing area from which you are more than welcome to watch your child. Only gymnasts and staff are allowed within the gymnastics space for safety reasons, however we love parents enjoying watching their child learn!
Can I do a free trial class?
Absolutely! We offer a free trial class for all new members. Just book here.
What if my child is reluctant to join in?
New environments can be overwhelming for children, and so we do our best to ensure children are made to feel welcomed and supported. Some children may need to watch a class before feeling confident enough to join in, which is perfectly fine!
Can I join mid year?
Yes! Enrolments can be made at any stage of the year, subject to class availability.
Can I do a make up class?
Yes! We offer make up classes for all of our after school classes subject to class availability (except for competitive programs due to a lack of suitable alternative class).
Can I change my class?
Yes! Subject to class availability, we are more than happy to try to find a class that fits in with your family’s timetable. Please speak to the office at any time to discuss this.
What does the annual registration and insurance fee cover?
The annual registration and insurance fee covers your membership with Gymnastics Australia, Gymnastics Victoria and Reach Gymnastics.
It provides an assurance that you are participating with an affiliated club of Gymnastics Australia for which there are high standards of qualification and compliance.
Through this program registered participants are also covered through Marsh Advantage Insurance for personal injury.
You can view the policy documents and what is covered here. Your registration and insurance expires December 31st each year and is payable for the following year to continue your participation.
Can I enroll into multiple classes?
Yes! If you would like your child to enrol into more classes, please speak to the office. The hourly rate for classes drops with every extra hour enrolled.
Can I take photos of my child?

Are there discounts for siblings?
Yes! We offer a 10% sibling discount (applied to the lowest tuition amount).
I would like to speak to my child’s coach?
We love hearing from our families. Our coaches generally coach back to back classes so if you would like to arrange a time to speak with your child’s coach, please don’t hesitate to email us or alternatively if the situation is urgent, please speak to a member of our Customer Service team at the gym, and we can arrange for a message to be sent to the coach.
